Kitchen Helper Job Responsibilities

The Kitchen Helper supports daily kitchen operations by assisting chefs and maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

Main responsibilities include:

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and storage spaces.
• Wash, dry, and properly store dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food supplies to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Dispose of garbage and manage recycling according to hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods by preparing ingredients and restocking workstations.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Job Requirements
