Responsibilities

• Assist with milking and maintain hygiene standards in the milking shed
• Feed livestock and support pasture allocation and stock movement
• Further Monitor animal health and report any illness or injuries
• Further Assist with calving, mating, and general livestock care
• Clean farm equipment, sheds, and work areas
• Support fencing, water systems, and general farm maintenance
• Further Operate farm machinery and equipment as required
• Follow farm health, safety, and animal welfare procedures
• Assist the Herd Manager and team with daily farm operations

Requirements

• Further Minimum 2 years of relevant farm experience
  OR a relevant qualification (NZQCF Level 4 or above)
• Good understanding of dairy or livestock farming operations
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Further Commitment to animal welfare and workplace safety
• Valid driver’s licence (preferred but not mandatory)
