Responsibilities
- Operate heavy container trucks safely and efficiently
- Transport and deliver containers to designated locations on time
- Further Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain truck cleanliness and ensure proper functioning
- Follow all road safety laws and company policies
- Report any vehicle faults, damages, or maintenance needs
- Further Assist with loading and unloading when required
- Maintain accurate delivery and transport records
Requirements
- Further Valid New Zealand Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence or equivalent overseas licence
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving heavy trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance
- Good communication and time management skills
- Further Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
- New Zealand citizens and residents preferred (visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates)
