Position Summary
Moreover Perform Aluminum MIG Arc Welding (AMAW) on fixtures, parts, and ramps.
Conduct some TIG welding as needed.
Read blueprints and job orders, follow welding techniques, and maintain proper tolerances.
Operate and maintain welding setups safely and efficiently.
Moreover Detect defects or quality issues and ensure adherence to finished trailer specifications.
Work under supervision, receiving guidance for new procedures or challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Read and follow job orders and blueprint specifications for aluminum trailer components.
Moreover Verify blueprints and job orders before starting operations.
Conserve resources by using materials and equipment efficiently.
Flip trailers or components with assistance for complete welding.
Moreover Inspect completed components to ensure quality and accuracy.
Maintain safety standards and report any equipment issues to management.
Identify defective or damaged parts and ensure quality compliance.
Follow directives, complete required paperwork, and maintain a clean workspace.
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 6S and Kaizen events.
Moreover Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience in aluminum welding; must pass an aluminum weld test.
Ability to read blueprints, job orders, and tape measures.
Moreover Experience with MIG and TIG welding.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Moreover Good verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company standards.
