This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the daily operations of our business while contributing to a variety of exciting projects. With a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, this role provides stability and the chance to take ownership of key responsibilities, including fabricating security products to a high standard, contributing to product design and development, and engaging in site work and installations. We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on individual with at least 2+ years of experience in mild steel welding and fabrication, who thrives in both workshop and customer-facing settings.

Full Job Description

  • Fabricating various security products – we are looking for someone with the skills and initiative to complete design and fabrication to the All Steel Security quality and standard.
  • Development and design of new products – our ideal candidate will have plenty of initiative and drive, as well as input into development, continuous improvement and ‘best practice’ ways-of-working.
  • Site work relating to projects and installation of products, customer facing
  • Problem solving, both in the workshop and during installs
  • Aluminium, stainless steel Tig welding skills are an advantage but not essential.
  • Be a safe operator of all standard workshop machinery (drill press, bandsaw, lathe, plasma cutter, etc.).
  • Demonstrate the ability and desire to work within a team as well as individually with minimum supervision.
  • Be a great team player with a positive attitude and show a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Have excellent time management skills and be able to meet set targets.
  • A good command of the English language is essential.
  • Demonstrate an excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of themselves and others.
