This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the daily operations of our business while contributing to a variety of exciting projects. With a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, this role provides stability and the chance to take ownership of key responsibilities, including fabricating security products to a high standard, contributing to product design and development, and engaging in site work and installations. We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on individual with at least 2+ years of experience in mild steel welding and fabrication, who thrives in both workshop and customer-facing settings.

Full Job Description

Fabricating various security products – we are looking for someone with the skills and initiative to complete design and fabrication to the All Steel Security quality and standard.
Development and design of new products – our ideal candidate will have plenty of initiative and drive, as well as input into development, continuous improvement and ‘best practice’ ways-of-working.
Site work relating to projects and installation of products, customer facing

Problem solving, both in the workshop and during installs
Aluminium, stainless steel Tig welding skills are an advantage but not essential.
Be a safe operator of all standard workshop machinery (drill press, bandsaw, lathe, plasma cutter, etc.).
Demonstrate the ability and desire to work within a team as well as individually with minimum supervision.
Be a great team player with a positive attitude and show a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
Have excellent time management skills and be able to meet set targets.
A good command of the English language is essential.
Demonstrate an excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of themselves and others.
