With a surge in workload following changes to “Development Contributions” by Auckland Council and a fast-tracked consenting process, we are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead our projects through this exciting phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage land development projects, ensuring they delivered on time and within budget.
- Perform complex civil designs using Civil 3D and AutoCAD, while ensuring quality control throughout the project.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering their professional growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with also clients, contractors, councils, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee site inspections and manage contractors to ensure projects aexecuted to the highest standard.
- Assist in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience, with a strong background in land development.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D/12D and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of NZS3910 construction contracts.
- A tertiary qualification in also civil engineering (BE, NZDE, BEngTech).
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing projects from start to finish.
