SOUTHLAND is currently seeking dedicated and safety-minded School Bus Drivers to join our team. This is an essential role that offers job also security, a flexible schedule and allows you to make a difference by transporting our children to school safely.

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday – no mandatory nights or weekend work
  • Split shifts (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
  • Additional lunch runs and charter work is also available

Job Description

School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and also from school. Successful candidates must be committed to safety and also customer service and will possess superior oral and written communication skills. Routes fall between the hours of 6:30 am – 9:30 am in the morning and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the afternoon.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B driver’s license preferred (training provided to also upgrade from a Class G)
  • 3-year driver’s abstract with safe also driving record
  • Undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination, drug and alcohol testing, criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance and also reference checks
