Sales Assistant Job in Hong Kong, The Madison Group is looking for a Sales Assistant to support retail sales and shop operations. The role includes handling customers and calls, preparing sales presentations and quotations, maintaining shop displays and customer records, managing stock, and following company procedures. Previous front-line, customer service, or hospitality experience is an advantage. Candidates need strong communication skills, teamwork, a proactive attitude, MS Office and POS knowledge, good typing speed, and fluency in English and Cantonese. Mandarin skills are also required at a good level. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required.

Position: Sales Assistant
Reports to: Head of Retail Sales & Operation

Key Responsibilities

Shop Operation, Administrative & Clerical Support

• Handle incoming and after-sales calls and walk-in customers.
• Understand brand and product knowledge to support shop operation.
• Prepare sales presentations, quotations, and meeting minutes.
• Maintain shop display setup, lighting, temperature, and customer records.
• Keep the shop and work areas neat and tidy.
• Keep stock of brand catalogues, material samples, stationery, and other items.
• Order and serve refreshments to customers.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Handle ad-hoc duties and tasks as required by superiors.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a front-line, customer service, or hospitality role is an advantage.
• Customer-oriented personality and willingness to learn fast.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, manner, and etiquette.
• Teamwork, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure.
• MS Office, POS, and the ability to learn new software.
• Good typing speed level (45+ wpm).
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; good command of Mandarin.
• Weekend and public holiday shift rotation is required.
