Job Responsibilities
The successful Plumber will perform residential plumbing services while maintaining high workmanship standards.
Main responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing residential plumbing issues before recommending repairs.
- Completing plumbing repairs and service calls within the approved legal scope.
- Repairing leaks, toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, valves, supply lines, and plumbing fixtures.
- Installing replacement fixtures and connecting dishwashers or laundry appliances where appropriate.
- Inspecting plumbing systems to locate leaks and other problems.
- Responding quickly to active leaks and minimizing water damage risks.
- Testing completed repairs before leaving each property.
- Identifying additional repairs, permits, inspections, or specialist requirements.
- Recording completed work, materials used, and follow-up recommendations.
- Taking clear photographs of repairs and completed work.
- Reporting unsafe conditions or work outside the approved scope.
