Job Responsibilities

The successful Plumber will perform residential plumbing services while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Main responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing residential plumbing issues before recommending repairs.
• Completing plumbing repairs and service calls within the approved legal scope.
• Repairing leaks, toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, valves, supply lines, and plumbing fixtures.
• Installing replacement fixtures and connecting dishwashers or laundry appliances where appropriate.
• Inspecting plumbing systems to locate leaks and other problems.
• Responding quickly to active leaks and minimizing water damage risks.
• Testing completed repairs before leaving each property.
• Identifying additional repairs, permits, inspections, or specialist requirements.
• Recording completed work, materials used, and follow-up recommendations.
• Taking clear photographs of repairs and completed work.
• Reporting unsafe conditions or work outside the approved scope.
• Using the mobile work application for work orders, navigation, updates, and documentation.
• Travelling between appointments using a personal vehicle.

Job Requirements

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of paid professional plumbing experience.
• Valid plumber trade status that can be verified.
• Ability to diagnose and complete plumbing jobs independently.
• Legal authorization to perform plumbing work through an appropriate contractor or business setup.
• Experience handling common residential plumbing repairs.
• Own reliable vehicle for travel between appointments.
• Own plumbing tools, equipment, and service supplies.
• Suitable smartphone capable of GPS navigation, mobile applications, photography, and job reporting.
• Strong understanding of plumbing safety and leak prevention.
• Ability to test completed work thoroughly.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to arrive within 30 minutes of scheduled appointments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid 306A Plumber Certificate of Qualification or equivalent.
• Red Seal Plumbing Certification.
