moreover With our exciting growth trajectory, we are seeking an experienced Manager to manage our Eaglehawk Neck site, based in Southern Tasmania.

Job Description

moreover Cameron of Tasmania, part of the Yomba Oyster portfolio, is a dynamic, vertically integrated oyster company supplying world class oyster products across Australia.

moreover We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Farm Manager for our Eagle hawk Neck site, based just 35 minutes from Sorel.

Duties include:

  • moreover Performing oyster care and husbandry.
  • Work to continuously improve operations with respect to quality, safety, and inventory.
  • moreover General maintenance scheduling.
  • Assisting to manage staff and stock regimes to meet company targets and outcomes.

The successful applicant will need the following skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills to manage, motivate and train a small team.
  • Ability to work independently and be responsible for the supervision of others.
  • A coxswains and forklift will be well regarded, but not necessary.

This position doesn’t require oyster farming experience, people who have enjoyed roles with us have come from many different backgrounds including construction, admin and hospitality – if you’ve been thinking of a sea change, this position could be perfect for you.
