A Warehouse Worker, is responsible for moving, shipping, storing or unloading various materials either by hand or with the use of machinery and may also be required to operate a forklift or other machinery to unload very heavy items. Also include unloading equipment, storing equipment, and moving and transporting material because A Warehouse Worker may also be responsible for disposing of a variety of leftover packing materials therefore hazardous waste in a safe and appropriate manner.

Jobs Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
  • Store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and techniques.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Perform regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Operating MHE to pick and pack goods.
  • Maintaining housekeeping within the warehouse at the levels
  • Ensuring ‘food safety’ requirements meets client’s requirements as directed by management.
  • Checking all freight for quality
  • Ensuring that you are completing all paperwork correctly as required.
  • Therefore A Warehouse Worker may also be responsible for disposing of a variety of leftover packing materials or hazardous waste in a safe and appropriate manner.

Jobs Requirements:

  • RF scanner and voice picking experience.
  • MHE license favorable (aisle master, reach truck, counterbalance, pallet truck)
  • Strong work ethic, a positive attitude and high attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Therefore Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
