SUMMARY
Provides sales assistance to regional personnel; Coordinates activities of workers regarding receiving, storing, inventory, issuing, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, parts and shipping in Distribution center and/or warehouse by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –includes the following in addition to those of his/her subordinates. Other duties may assigned.
- Answer customer inquiries to motors.
- moreover Provide pricing information to customers.
- Assist Regional Sales Manager and regional salespeople in resolving issues including researching problems and providing viable solutions customer requirements and customer satisfaction met.
- Interact with Round Rock based customer service group and sales group to coordinate motor sales for the region when necessary.
- moreover Advises employees on care and preservation of items received and stored; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining inventory and shipping.
- moreover Responsible for receipt and verification of inventory of containers from Taiwan, China, Malaysia and warehouse transfer orders into Sideline system in a timely manner.
- moreover Track shipment of customer orders on scheduled ship dates.
- moreover Responsible for inventory accuracy rate of 99.5%.
- moreover Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Responsible for following corporate guidelines in selection of Ground and Air freight carriers.
- Contributes in writing work instructions for warehouse personnel that comply with Corporate’ ISO 9000 requirement.
Incorporate the Standards of Excellence as outlined by TWMC (Pride, Desire, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Follow-through) into daily activities in order to create a Total Quality environment through personal commitment.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates
activities of employees in Receiving/Warehouse. Carries out team leader responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, training employees, writing procedures, assigning duties, examine accuracy of work, and planning and directing workflow.
Schedule work for special and periodic inventories / cycle counts.
Makes recommendations for rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Moreover Assist Logistics manager in the performance appraisal process by monitoring and overseeing performance of warehouse personnel, preparing weekly Activity Reports and status of performance measures and maintaining attendance schedules.
Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five or more years related receiving/stores/shipping or warehousing/customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Moreover Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
