Join Beacon Community Services as a Housekeeper in the Better at Home program, a great opportunity to provide housekeeping services to also older adults in Saanich. This casual position allows for also flexible schedule, where you can set your hours and days of work. Bring your excellent interpersonal skills to build strong one-on-one relationships with clients and contribute to older adults continuing to live independently. SUMMARY:
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
- Clean kitchen floors, counters, sink
- Check and clean the refrigerator
- Bathroom sinks, tubs, showers, counters, toilets, floors
- Do laundry, make beds, change bed linens
- Clean windows
- Visits can vary between 1-3 hours
- Call clients the day before an appointment
- Submit brief monthly client reports
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Physically able to perform all cleaning tasks listed
- Must have vehicle
- Class 5 driver’s license
