Responsibilities

As a Hospital Cleaner at ISS, your core duties will include:

• Moreover Cleaning and disinfecting wards, patient rooms, public areas, and clinical departments

• Safe handling and use of cleaning agents, chemicals, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Performing routine and spot-cleaning tasks across high-touch areas

• Decontaminating surfaces after removal of clinical waste (by hospital staff)

• Moreover Reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly

• Following strict infection prevention and control protocols

• Moreover Communicating effectively with patients, hospital staff, and team members

• Adhering to shift schedules and task lists assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

• Moreover Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays)

• A current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)

• Moreover A valid Victorian Working with Children Check (employment type, not volunteer)

• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (3 doses) and current Flu vaccination

• Legal right to work in Australia
