What’s involved in the General Labour role:
Moreover The Island Farms plant is looking for General Labour employees to support their Warehouse department.
Working in a cooler environment, duties will include assisting the department in the day-to-day activities.
What you need to join our team:
- Moreover Class 1 preferred
- Warehouse experience in a Cooler/Freezer environment preferred
- Moreover Qualified to operate mobile equipment including swing reach forklift, reach truck forklift and pallet jack preferred
- Moreover Able to work with and without direct supervision
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and be an active team member
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe workplace
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Moreover Must be able to record and maintain all records and other documentation
- Able to organize, coordinate and prioritize work to ensure efficiency
- Moreover Physically fit with a good attendance and personal safety record
- Experience with inventory counts and control procedures preferred
This is a 24/7 operation – candidates must have flexibility in their availability and able to work days, afternoons, and night shifts.
