Forklift Operator Job in Canada — Paradigm is looking for a forklift operator to support order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling. The job is on-site and full-time, with pay of 20 CAD/hr to 22 CAD/hr. Candidates need Grade 12 education or equivalent, at least one year of Stand-Up and Counter Balance Forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, good communication skills, and knowledge of work equipment, computer systems, and RF guns or software.

What You Would Be Doing

• Working with other staff, you will ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, prioritized, and staged, with emphasis on accuracy.
• Performing order processing through a computerized inventory system.
• Performing RF-based transactions, including picking, shipping, and inventory.
• Performing picking and/or packing functions.
• Loading and unloading trucks/containers.
• Performing all shipping confirmations on a daily basis.
• Receiving product through the internal system with accuracy and timeliness.
• Performing put-away, replenishments, and inventory functions.
• Performing label application, skid sorting, wrapping, and loading.
• Working with other staff to ensure that the product identity is maintained at all times.
• Working closely with the Assembly Departments to ensure that customer packaging requirements are met and orders are shipped on time.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, Health & Safety policies.
• Maintaining the work area in a clean and safe condition, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 Education, or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• A minimum of 1 year with Stand-Up & Counter Balance Forklift experience.
• Familiar with all work-related equipment and computer systems.
• Demonstrated experience in Health and Safety standards.
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work in a strong team atmosphere.
• Knowledge of RF Guns or software programs.
