The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum is seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a unique working farm in the heart of Ottawa, while educating the public about Canada’s agricultural heritage.

Responsibilities of Farm Worker:

Assist with daily farm chores, including feeding and caring for a variety of farm animals (sheep, cows, pigs, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and safety of animal barns and surrounding areas
Help prepare and demonstrate agricultural practices for visitors
Assist with educational programs and special events

Requirements of Farm Worker:

Minimum 1 year experience working on a farm or in a related agricultural setting
Strong understanding of farm animal care and husbandry practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather conditions

Salary: $20-$25 per hour (depending on experience)
