Full job description

Moreover  As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition.

  • Moreover  Immediate start
  • Weekly full-time hours guaranteed.
  • Moreover  Days of work: Monday to Saturday (5/6 days a week)
  • Hours: 5.00 am/6.00 am start – finishes in 8-10 hours, depending on the run.
  • Our Location: Inhumation road, Mangere, Auckland

The role:

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around the Auckland region.Moreover  providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods
  • Unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.
  • Moreover  Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
  • Moreover  Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
  • Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs

The candidate:

  • Hold a full Class 2 drivers license, must be able to drive manual
  • Have clear communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of central and wider Auckland region is desirable
  • Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail
  • Must have clean driving and criminal records
  • Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
  • Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Possess good organizational and time management skills.
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Have reliable transport for commute
