moreover With a commitment to excellence, we take pride in delivering fresh and sustainable products to our valued customers. moreover As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our New Plymouth branch on a casual basis.
As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition.
The role:
- Casual Position
- moreover 2 days a week (Thursday/Friday) 4-6 hours per day
- Location: 14 Salt ash Street, Vogel town, New Plymouth
- Immediate start
The job:
moreover You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around New Plymouth, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods
- Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.
- moreover Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- moreover Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients
- moreover Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs
- Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement
- Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.
- Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required
- Help team in picking/dispatching if needed
The candidate:
- a full Class 2 drivers licensed, must be able to drive manual
- Have clear communication and customer service skills
- moreover Knowledge of Taranaki region and its surrounding areas is a plus
- Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
- Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail
- moreover Clean driving and criminal records
- Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
- moreover Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg.
- Possess good organizational and time management skills.
- moreover Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Have reliable transport for commute
