Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner – Housekeeper, you’ll responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across resident rooms and shared spaces. You’ll play an essential role in creating a healthy, welcoming environment for our residents.

Your tasks will include:

  • Moreover Delivering thorough cleaning services in accordance with the daily cleaning schedule.

  • Maintaining adequate stock of cleaning supplies.

  • Moreover Ensuring residents’ rooms and common areas are tidy and safe.

  • Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to the Household Supervisor.

  • Moreover Following Health & Safety policies and correct handling of cleaning chemicals.

  • Respectfully interacting with residents and contributing to a caring, homely atmosphere.


Requirements

  • Moreover Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a care home, hospital, or similar setting is preferred.

  • Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

  • Reliable transportation or travel arrangements.

  • Moreover Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.

  • Physically fit and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

  • A respectful, caring approach to interacting with elderly residents.
