Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces

• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to guidelines

• Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables as needed

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor

• Use cleaning equipment (training provided) such as floor buffers, vacuums, or polishers

• Follow health and safety protocols, including proper chemical handling

Qualifications

• No formal education required – training provided for all successful applicants

• Experience in commercial or residential cleaning is an advantage, but not essential

• Basic English communication skills required

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20 kg and work on your feet for extended periods

• Reliable, punctual, and with a strong attention to detail

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly Wage: NZD $23.15 – $26.50 (based on location and experience)

• Paid breaks and overtime available (as per NZ employment law)
