Responsibilities
Diagnose problems with vacuum equipment and ensure proper operation.
Safely “blow down” tanks and handle 3-inch vacuum hoses and vacuum line connections.
Operate 100-PSI air lines safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Moreover Work in dim, dusty, or confined areas and on elevated staging as required.
Wear proper protective equipment, including dust masks and respirators.
Moreover Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, climbing, crouching, crawling, and balancing.
Follow all instructions provided by supervisors, foremen, or senior workers.
Maintain safe and clean working conditions.
Perform additional duties as needed to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
Requirements
Moreover Required Education: None
Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience required.
Ability to work safely using vacuums, vacuum bottles, air compressors, and compressed air tools.
Moreover Must be able to follow simple instructions and work cooperatively with team members and shipyard personnel.
Willingness to work in challenging environments such as confined spaces, dusty areas, and at various heights.
Able to work overtime or shifts as needed.
