Cleaner Jobs in Auckland. Green by Nature NZ is seeking motivated and reliable Cleaners and Bin Collection Team Members to join our operations team based at the Henderson depot, Auckland. These are full-time, fixed-term contract roles supporting the busy summer season (October to February). The positions offer an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to the community, and be part of a well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empty public rubbish bins and operate compactor vehicles (bin collection roles)

  • Moreover Clean public amenities and facilities across Henderson, Rodney, and West Auckland

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in parks and public spaces

  • Follow scheduled routes and work to assigned rosters

  • Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and procedures

  • Moreover Conduct basic equipment checks and report any issues

  • Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Full, clean driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle (essential)

  • Moreover Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a demanding environment

  • Willingness to work shift schedules from Thursday to Monday (1:30 pm – 10:00 pm)

  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

  • Moreover Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

  • No previous experience required (experience in a similar role is an advantage)
