Christmas Kettle Driver in Canada Full job description
The Christmas Kettle Driver is primarily responsible for securing and transporting Christmas Kettle Donations on a daily basis and for interacting in a pleasant way with volunteers and host locations.
HOURS:
- Part time, Temporary, Monday to Saturday
- Hours: Some afternoons and also evening 5:30pm – 8:30pm, fluctuating schedule-flexibility will be required at times
- November 13th, 2023 – December 24th, 2024
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily delivery and pick-up of kettles to/from sites, ensuring the security of donations
- Moreover Coordinates with daytime staff to respond to daily changes in pick up plan.
- Fosters and maintains positive working relationships with kettle sites, addressing conflicts/issues as they arise
- Manage inventory and replenish Kettle supplies when low; provide maintenance to Kettles and supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
NOTE: Not all incumbents perform all of the duties described above but perform a similar range of duties.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
- Moreover Possess a valid Class 5 or higher BC Driver’s License
- A current Drivers Abstract will be required
Education/Certifications:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
Experience:
- Moreover No Prior Experience Required
PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:
- Multi-tasking
- Moreover Strong organization skills,
- Team oriented and able to follow directions
- Moreover Comfortable driving at night
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
