Responsibilities

• Assist with personal and self-care activities while ensuring safety and comfort

• Further Support daily routines, structure, and monitoring of activities

• Engage clients in developmental activities, games, and exercise

• Organize personal belongings, materials, and activity tools

• Further Provide emotional support and companionship

• Assist teachers or therapists with home-based programs as directed

• Further Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments, family events, and outings

• Perform light cleaning duties related to the care environment

• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing setting at all times

Requirements

• Further Positive, patient, and compassionate attitude

• Strong attention to detail and responsibility

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Further Passion for caring for persons with developmental disabilities

• Willingness to learn; training will be provided

• Previous experience caring for autistic or special needs individuals is an advantage but not required
