Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect for residents.
Moreover Offer mobility support in accordance with individual care plans.
Maintain accurate health care documentation and record keeping.
Encourage residents to take part in social and recreational activities to enhance their wellbeing.
Moreover Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive home environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
Work collaboratively under the supervision of nursing staff and care home management to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate (Level 2–4) preferred.
Moreover Minimum of 1 year of experience in aged care or a similar caregiving role (preferred).
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
Moreover Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for helping the elderly and improving their quality of life.
Skills and Competencies
Empathy, compassion, and patience in supporting residents.
Ability to follow care plans and clinical guidelines accurately.
Moreover Strong observation and record-keeping abilities.
Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene practices.
Moreover Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
