Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect for residents.

• Moreover Offer mobility support in accordance with individual care plans.

• Maintain accurate health care documentation and record keeping.

• Encourage residents to take part in social and recreational activities to enhance their wellbeing.

• Moreover Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive home environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.

• Work collaboratively under the supervision of nursing staff and care home management to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements

• NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate (Level 2–4) preferred.

• Moreover Minimum of 1 year of experience in aged care or a similar caregiving role (preferred).

• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

• Moreover Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine passion for helping the elderly and improving their quality of life.

Skills and Competencies

• Empathy, compassion, and patience in supporting residents.

• Ability to follow care plans and clinical guidelines accurately.

• Moreover Strong observation and record-keeping abilities.

• Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene practices.

• Moreover Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
