Responsibilities
Moreover Provide personal care assistance, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and transferring residents.
Assist residents with daily activities, mobility, and participation in community programs.
Support meal preparation, presentation, serving meals, and monitoring eating habits.
Moreover Maintain timely and accurate reporting of any incidents, accidents, or changes in resident condition.
Promote a positive environment by communicating respectfully with residents, families, and team members.
Moreover Uphold the mission and values of Kokoro Assisted Living through compassionate service and professional conduct.
Support residents with reminders or assistance in activities of daily living (ADLs).
Ensure punctuality, regular attendance, and the ability to keep pace with assigned workloads.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must complete required health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance.
Moreover High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required with relevant experience).
Ability to speak, read, and understand English fluently.
Moreover Must be able to work required schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Speaking Japanese is a plus.
Skills
First Aid Certification (Required)
CPR Certification (Required)
Experience working with people with disabilities (Required)
Moreover Experience working with geriatric or senior populations (Preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a steady work pace and follow schedules
