We are looking to fulfill the full time role of a Caregiver.

Medical Connect Group is looking to recruit a reliable professional with a friendly disposition for the role of a Caregiver. The ideal candidate for this role must be highly passionate about patient support and recovery, assuming responsibility for patient medical needs as well as offering them companionship.

Job Description

You will be responsible for imparting care and support to patients both with their routine leisure activities as well as taking control of their medical and personal needs. Your tasks will range from administering patient medications and monitoring their vitals to giving emotional and psychological support depending on the patient in question.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal grooming needs such as bathing and dressing.
• Administer adequate doses of prescribed medications at the right times and monitor for any adverse side effects.
• Help with basic mobility and movement depending on the patient’s condition.
• Taking care of basic housekeeping such as cooking and cleaning.
• Enrich patients’ lives by accompanying them and providing companionship.
• Collaborate with treating physicians regarding ongoing treatment plan’s effectiveness.
• Communicate any responses or changes in health due to treatment to healthcare professionals.
• Take care of and encourage the following of any dietary limitations in accordance with treating specialists.
• Coordinate care by scheduling doctor appointments given that the need arises for them.
• Maintain personal records on behalf of the patient for the medical care received.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant caregiving certification preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and patient interaction.
• Commendable work ethic, punctuality, and appropriate response in medical emergencies.
