Job Description:

At Summerset we are here to bring the best of life to our residents. To do this, we know we need to take care of our people to form a team who are strong enough to care, operate as one team, and strive to do their best. This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care. This role is for full time, ongoing employment, working 80 hours per fortnight.

Caregiver Jobs Qualifications:

• have experience in aged care and have a Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate
• have genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
• be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
• be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends).

Additional Information:

• $28.42 – $30.70 per hour based on your Level 4 qualification or 3+ years experience
• Weekend rates of an additional 40 percent of the hourly rate
• Time and one half for all work or shifts over 8 hours in a day
