Purpose of the Position
- Ensure efficient beverage service in assigned food and beverage areas.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned station with about 25 to 30 guests.
- Serve drinks and help prepare cocktails.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all bar menus.
- Ensure guests are charged correctly.
- Report incorrect charges to the Supervisor.
- Set up assigned areas according to Viking standards and procedures.
- Follow service procedures and public health policies.
- Prepare and operate food and beverage activities.
- Follow company standards for beverage service.
- Follow cost-control procedures and set budgets.
- Complete stock takes and inventory.
- Store stock correctly and maintain required stock levels.
- Prevent equipment loss and damage.
- Keep assigned areas clean and hygienic.
- Follow safe work procedures.
- Sanitize and return equipment after each use.
- Prepare all required items 15 minutes before service.
- Attend “The Daily Reunion” each day.
- Provide comfortable and sales-focused service to guests.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Prepare service based on guest flow and ship activities.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Use correct lifting techniques.
- Follow Viking grooming and uniform standards.
- Protect company property, especially during rough weather.
- Work flexibly and remain positive under pressure.
- Learn about ports, shore excursions, ship events, and activities.
- Support the goals of the Bar Department.
- Follow safety, security, public health, environmental, and fire procedures.
- Attend required onboard training and safety exercises.
- Assist other departments when instructed by supervisors.

Your Profile
- At least two years of experience as a Bar Waiter or in a similar position.
- Experience in an international premium hospitality or bar environment.
- Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, spirits, and cocktails.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physically fit and in good health.
- Able to carry heavy items and stand, kneel, and bend for long periods.
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Excellent Japanese and English communication skills.
- Flexible and able to work under stress.
- Strong team player with a good work ethic.
- Guest-focused and service-oriented.
- Positive personality and professional appearance.
- Excellent personal hygiene.
