Responsibilities

• Operate vacuums, vacuum bottles, compressed air, and other cleaning equipment efficiently and safely
• Perform “blow down” of tanks and connect vacuum lines correctly
• Maintain cleanliness of staging areas, often in dim or dusty conditions
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks in a safe and timely manner
• Wear necessary safety equipment, including dust masks or respirators
• Moreover Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure job completion
• Work cooperatively with other employees and shipyard personnel

Requirements

• Minimum of one year related cleaning experience
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors or more experienced workers
• Moreover Physically fit to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and crawling
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at various heights, and in all weather conditions
• Moreover Capability to wear a dust mask or respirator for safety
• Strong stamina and physical agility for long hours of repetitive work
