Responsibilities
- Perform civil engineering design, analysis, and preparation of calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Develop site designs including grading, earthwork, and stormwater drainage systems
- Conduct stormwater detention and drainage analysis using industry tools
- Prepare and modify civil site designs for industrial facilities
- Support project planning including scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design documents and construction plans
- Apply engineering standards, codes, and best practices in all design work
- Moreover Evaluate and apply engineering techniques with minimal supervision
- Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates for project feasibility
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and building codes
Requirements
- Moreover Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum 10 years of experience in site civil engineering
- Moreover Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience in grading, earthwork design, and stormwater drainage analysis
- Knowledge of environmental permitting (NPDES, wetlands, Phase 1 ESA, etc.)
- Moreover Experience with site layout, roadway design, and ADA compliance
- Familiarity with surveying concepts and coordinate systems
- Understanding of geotechnical principles and site preparation
- Ability to work onsite and manage multiple project tasks effectively
