Welder Jobs in Uganda. Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled Welder to join its Aggregates division in Demorest, Georgia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to perform welding and fabrication work that supports the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and structures. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards in an industrial work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Moreover Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair and maintain plant equipment and structural components.
  • Safely operate cutting torches, welding machines, and other fabrication tools.
  • Inspect equipment to identify mechanical issues and required repairs.
  • Moreover Troubleshoot maintenance problems to reduce equipment downtime and production delays.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations while performing tasks.
  • Moreover Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to complete repair and fabrication projects efficiently.
  • Moreover Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Moreover Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Moreover Willingness to work in industrial conditions, including heat, cold, noise, and outdoor Moreover environments.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam, drug/alcohol screening, and background check.
