Key Responsibilities

• Moreover Perform multiple welding techniques and methods as directed by clients

• Read and work from technical drawings and plans

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures using carbon steel

• Moreover Fabricate aluminium soaker flashings and related welded flashings

• Operate TIG welding machines

• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment

• Ensure work areas are left clean and safe at the end of each day

• Moreover Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures

• Complete required training to a satisfactory standard

• Participate in ongoing training for new equipment and technology

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified Welder

• Moreover Strong ability to read and interpret plans and drawings

• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand

• Willingness to travel or work away from home when required

• Moreover Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing (site dependent)

Skills

• Moreover Proficiency in TIG welding and metal fabrication

• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and steady hands

• Moreover Physical strength and endurance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
