Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality civil engineering designs, technical specifications, calculations, and reports.

• Moreover Lead and manage design teams to ensure project quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.

• Plan and execute engineering tasks across concept, preliminary, and detailed design stages.

• Moreover Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams locally and nationally to achieve project outcomes.

• Liaise with project managers, design managers, and clients, preparing professional documentation and proposals.

• Moreover Review designs for compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and project requirements.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the Civil Engineering discipline.

• Support the preparation of bids and tender submissions for new projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

• Moreover Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status preferred.

• Proven experience in an engineering consulting environment.

• Strong background in civil infrastructure design for Defence, Building, or Transport projects.

• Familiarity with Australian standards and civil design guidelines.

• Moreover Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance.

• Willingness to work towards chartership within an agreed timeframe.
