Key Responsibilities
Adhere to all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Moreover Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements.
Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication.
Cut metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame-cutting torches, and machines.
Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, heating, and hammering.
Align parts accurately for joining using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Join metal sections through various welding techniques, bolting, and riveting.
Moreover Inspect welds for quality, including bead width, penetration, and precision.
Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing, and chemical treatments.
Clean and smooth welds using filing, chiseling, and grinding tools.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in welding and structural steel fabrication.
Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in fabrication environments.
Moreover NZ residency required for applicants.
Moreover Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
