Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

• Moreover Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements.

• Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication.

• Cut metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame-cutting torches, and machines.

• Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, heating, and hammering.

• Align parts accurately for joining using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.

• Join metal sections through various welding techniques, bolting, and riveting.

• Moreover Inspect welds for quality, including bead width, penetration, and precision.

• Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing, and chemical treatments.

• Clean and smooth welds using filing, chiseling, and grinding tools.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in welding and structural steel fabrication.

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in fabrication environments.

• Moreover NZ residency required for applicants.

• Moreover Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
